The Wheel of the Year refers to the Solstices, Equinoxes, and cross-quarter days that mark the seasonal holy days based in the agricultural calendar. Distinct from other pagan and Wiccan traditions, Dianics celebrate the Women’s Wheel of the Year by ritualizing the interconnectedness between the earth and seasonal cycle, the mythic cycle of the goddesses, and the overlay of the female life cycle.
In this 2-session class, students will explore how Dianic tradition creates meaning and celebration for women today as both we, and She, “dances” through the cycle of the year.
Please note: This class is connected to, but different than "The Year is a Dancing Woman" chant workshop.
